Attention to the real work
People closest to a problem have knowledge that a process chart can miss. Their perspective belongs in the work from the beginning.
ABOUT RERUT
An independent innovation consultancy for the ideas, teams and technologies that deserve a closer look.
WHY RERUT EXISTS
A familiar answer is not always the most useful one.
RERUT brings together close observation, an understanding of people’s strengths and a willingness to test assumptions. We help teams examine the real work before deciding what should change.
That can mean shaping an early product, untangling a difficult workflow or putting an emerging technology to practical use. In each case, the aim is a clearer decision and work the people involved can understand and carry forward.
The methodology behind the workTHE FOUNDER
Founder
San Antonio, Texas
A practical interest in how people, systems and ideas work together.
Benjiman’s background spans healthcare technology, portfolio management, process improvement and hands-on software prototyping. Those interests come together in RERUT’s approach: understand the whole situation, recognize what people can contribute and test a possibility before assuming it will work.
His thinking places particular emphasis on meaningful people development, critical thinking, communication and psychological safety. The six-pillar methodology treats these as connected conditions for useful innovation.
Outside consulting, his creative interests include writing, game design, CAD, 3D printing and custom FPV drones. Making things is part of how he explores an idea—from the first question to something that can be tried, revised and understood.
Benjiman also writes Innovation Matters, RERUT’s article series examining the evidence and decisions behind AI, science, work and leadership.
WHAT TO EXPECT
People closest to a problem have knowledge that a process chart can miss. Their perspective belongs in the work from the beginning.
We make uncertainty visible, invite different views and separate what is known from what needs to be tested.
Requirements, decisions, experiments and results stay connected so the team can understand both the work and the reasoning behind it.
